Infrastructure Technician – Tier 1 (Multiple Vacancies)
Department: Infrastructure
Reports to: Operations Manager
Position: Full-time, Non-exempt
Schedule: 5 day M-F 9-5 (winter), 4 day 8-6 (summer), OT after-hours & weekends as required, occasional overnight travel
Pay: Depending upon experience and qualifications

Description Install, maintain, and service Internet service equipment at tower sites and utility poles to ensure customers receive reliable Internet service.
Summary Of Essential Job Functions
Climbs towers and/or utility poles up to 300ft while carrying 50lbs of equipment and/or support tower / utility pole top hands as ground personnel
Install/Maintain wireless Internet equipment and fiber optic lines.
Install data and power cables to tower-mounted devices
Perform other duties as required
Maintain company issued assets including tools, equipment and vehicles
Equipment preparation for assigned jobs
Follow safety/training protocols and maintain safe working environment
Drive company vehicles
Desired Skills & Requirements For Position
Field experience preferred, wireless experience highly valued
Must be comfortable working at extreme heights
Passionate about job safety
Enjoys working in all weather conditions
Must enjoy working with hands and learning new technology
Must be comfortable using hand and power tools
Current Valid Driver’s license
Climbing Certification is a plus but not required (we will train and certify in house)
CDL is a + but not required
Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to self or others
High School Diploma required
Pass a background check, MVR check & Drug Screen

Working Conditions Fast-paced environment with multiple changes to schedules. Employees work indoors & outdoors in all weather conditions and are frequently performing work on high structures.
